A BOOKPLATE COLORING BOOK: Margaret Ely Webb (1877-1965)

The hand-coloring of bookplates dates back to the mid-15th century. The Society has an interest in popularizing the art of the bookplate and educating the public on their history through a series of bookplate coloring books. We designed and produced the first edition presenting the works of Margaret Margaret Ely Webb that we offer exclusively to ASBC&D members. In addition, Webb was a longtime member of the Society.

The Margaret Ely Webb coloring book is offered in limited edition and serves as a fundraiser for the Society. Several of our members helped with this production. The idea for M. E. Webb bookplate coloring book comes from Gretchen Potter. Concepcion Elvira Provenzal developed the design and front cover color image. Christopher Kent enlarged and cleaned up all of the images from the original printed bookplates.

This is a nice addition to your bookplate collection. There are 30 pages in this edition with 10 images. Page size is 8.5 x 11 with a saddle-stitched binding. The coloring book includes information on our society and a short biography on Margaret Ely Webb.

Single copies are $20.00 USD ppd.  That is, domestic USA postage paid & shipped via USPS Priority Mail.  For international shipments add $5.00 USD
